I guess I should actually say I dislike how the writers portray her. There’s just some things that the writers make her say that really bum me out because Alison, overall, is an awesome character. A girl who constantly says she doesn’t want to feel like she can’t protect herself. It is refreshing to see a female character who very much wants to protect herself and who is very much capable of doing so. She does not need any man to come to her aid, though it does happen occasionally. Like I said, it is refreshing and awesome.
